One Sentence Worth North of a Trillion Dollars...that's $1,000,000,000,000...(China & US Deal)
It seems that we may actually be getting close to a deal with China despite what the broader market is pointing towards...or at least I hope. Trump has mentioned now that there is a deal on the table with 142 items, which would be the majority of items in the current scope of trade. And now Morning Brew and WSJ are reporting that this sentence is holding back the whole deal, "We agreed to fight protectionism including all unfair trade practices." China seems to feel that this sentence is pointed too heavily at them and they want it rewritten.
I'd like to think that with the G-20 meeting of the world's developed economies taking place in Buenos Aires from Nov. 30 to Dec. 1, we will see a trade deal on or before this date or at the very least some tangible progress.
